ayam gagape (chicken gagape)

Ingredients:

A chicken
Half of coconut rashped had been sauted
3 sticks of citronella grass
2 glasses of coconut milk
2 sheets of bay-leaf
A lime fruit

Blended Ingredients:
6 onions
2 cloves of garlic
2 spoon of coriander
1 finger of ginger
1 finger of wild ginger
Salt and tumeric sufficient

How to cook :

  • Chop chicken meat into 4 pieces or as you wish then grill into half cooked
  • Rasp the Coconut then stir-fried.
  • After finish stir-friying the rasped coconut then mix with the blended ingredients then add with coconut milk.
  • Cook it all until the broth become thick. Serve with the little amount of broth.
